Tonle Sap, in photos

The Tonle Sap is a gigantic lake that makes you think youre out on a calm ocean when youre in the middle of it. It is the life source for more than half of the Cambodian population. In rainy season it increases in size by double. There are quite a few Vietnamese floating villages all over the lake, which began popping up around world war II when the Vietnamese couldnt get citizenship in Cambodia...so they built floating villages. They do have Cambodian citizenship and speak Khmer (the Cambodian language).

Scorpion wine?
The full blue area is the size of the Tonle Sap in rainy season. Nuts.
