Friends! Bays! Sharks!

By now you are aware of my theory that Koh Tao is not real life, yes? Futher proof: Most of us, when we hear "There's a shark in the water" or "There was a shark in the water" We freeze for a moment and decide not to go into the water, to stay safe. On Koh Tao, we jump in the water and swim as long as our bodies will let us in order to FIND the sharks! There's Shark Bay - you have to get there at 6am or around 4pm to see sharks about 2 meters long. There's Tanote Bay which has the best snorkeling ever AND seven baby sharks swimming and playing together. Take note: Sharks are fast. You will never, ever, ever out swim them.

We snorkeled for maybe an hour in Shark bay looking for the scary big-finned fish, but only Katti and Florian managed to see one.

The gang's all here!

Shark Bay

Pretty, right?

A nice seashell Katti found for her balcony.

Freedom beach

Safety first, of course.

Smack dab in the middle of Tanote Bay.

Raquel, Katti, and me <3 Miss you!

Tanote bay, where you can swim with baby sharks!

Katti had quite the accident on her bike, so to avoid dipping her bloody cut up foot in the sea water, she found a convenient floating device. I laughed for ages.

Oh, sexy, sexy.
