Dasha - a traditional Bavarian mädchen

I went into one of the shopping centers in Munich and was happily surprised to find traditional dresses for sale! See because women actually wear them here. Not often, but they do. It would be like if Americans (not us immigrants) wore pilgrim outfits..except these are way cooler. It is called a dirndl! Dresses that are loosely based on the dirndl are known as Landhausmode - which is what these may actually be.

Naturally I decided to try one on. Step 1!

Step 2!

Step 3!

From the back.

More and more!

According to Florian, these are the slutty dresses - a mockery of the traditional ones.

  1. I think this look needs to come back into fashion. I would like every girl who wore one.
